Vowel-final: 가다 → 가 + ㄹ까요? → 갈까요? (do you think someone will go?)

Consonant-final: 먹다 → 먹 + 을까요? → 먹을까요? (do you think someone will eat?)

ㄹ-final: 살다 → 살 + 까요? → 살까요? (do you think someone will live?)

-(으)ㄹ까요? expresses in question form the supposition of an action or state that has yet to happen.

It corresponds to 'I wonder if...' or 'Do you think...?' in English.

In response, -(으)ㄹ 거예요 and -(으)ㄴ/는 것 같아요 are often used.
